Maideasy is proud to announce that the Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation (MDEC) has registered and approved us as a Validated Platform under Malaysia's Sharing Economy (MySE) programme.
The recognition is valid from 6 May 2026 to 6 May 2028, subject to our continued fulfilment of the applicable criteria. It marks an important milestone for the platform we have built to connect Malaysian households with reliable home cleaning services while creating fair and dignified income opportunities for local cleaners.
What Is Malaysia's Sharing Economy Programme?
Malaysia's Sharing Economy programme supports the growth and responsible adoption of technology-enabled services that connect people, skills and resources through digital platforms.
MDEC explains that it facilitates the adoption of sharing economy services offered by validated local and international platforms. These services can give businesses and consumers access to proven digital models, on-demand services and new opportunities while improving efficiency.
This work forms part of a broader national effort to build a sharing economy that people can trust. The Ministry of Digital's MS 2754 Series for sharing economy platforms emphasises principles such as transparency, data protection, clear dispute resolution and operational safety across the digital platform ecosystem.
What the MySE Validation Means for Maideasy
Our Certificate of Recognition confirms that Maideasy Sdn. Bhd. (Maideasy) is registered and approved as a MySE Validated Platform.
For us, the recognition reinforces several responsibilities that have guided Maideasy since 2015:
