Maideasy To Resume Operations On Monday, 4 May 2020

The government has provided some safety guidelines that allows services to operate from Monday, 4 May 2020. Maideasy will start taking bookings today for all future bookings and cleaning sessions that will resume on Monday. Our crew have not been taking any jobs for almost two months but we were constantly in communication with them. As soon as PM Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin gave the economic sectors and services industries the green light, upon which health and safety measures must also be followed, Maideasy immediately communicated to all our cleaning crew for business to resume on Monday.

We have started taking bookings and informing our customers that we are allowed to operate from Monday. Some bookings have already been matched with the cleaning crew. Even though today is Labour Day, some of our team, myself included are working to get the business prepared and running in anticipation for Monday.

We must also address what new normal do we expect coming this Monday and moving forward. Maideasy is working to draw up some health and safety guidelines for the crew and a declaration from the customers to mitigate the risk of the virus. The government also recommends a sanitisation service for offices and building common areas that should be done three times a day. On that suggestion, we have sanitisation packages ready to deploy.

There will be two sanitisation packages that Maideasy will offer in addition to our normal cleaning services.

  1. Sanitisation and Cleaning
  2. Sanitisation, Cleaning and Fogging

Maideasy will communicate with you for more information on these new services.

As a basic requirement, we require that any of our cleaning crew that exhibit flu like symptoms will not be allowed to work. They will also be required to wear a mask at all times and maintain a safe distance from the customers at their homes. Any enquiries could also be passed through our customer support to relay them to our cleaning crew.

The MCO has given a lot of time for us to rethink the business. We have also found that working from home has it’s advantages and productivity were actually quite normal during these times. Overall, Maideasy will move forward with renewed enthusiasm and modification to the business to serve our customers better.

We would also like to thank our customers who supported us during these times. Maideasy stays true to the mission of empowering the community especially the B40.

Thank you,

Meriza Anna Mustapha
